Once ago I've made a zbrush sketch of Toph (from Avatar), but I wasn’t totally satisfied with it, I mean, she’s one of the most awesome character I ever seen, and she really deserves more than a sketch. So, here’s a portrait of her that I’ve made this weekend! It was a great challenge since I was forced to figure out a good way to make her blind eyes without that scary “cataract” look, and it was a really great exercise to improve my “hair & fur” skills! Ornatrix rocks! hahaha!

After 3 insane days of work, a pizza and 7 beer cans (some people like cofee, I like beer! hehe!), I’ve finished my entry for WE ARE TEKKEN fan-art contest! Instead of making Jin Kazama, Heihachi or even Kazuya, I’ve decided to give a try with Bryan Fury, one of my fav characters (this guy it’s an one man army! heh!)

Unfortunately they didn't pick my entry (my punishment for desobey the "Always do the main character" rule) and I'm not sure if it’s 100% ok, but for I’m really satisfied with the result for an 3 days work.

Besides the fire, sky and particles, everything is 3d (and a LOT of retouch! hehe!) The background it's some kind of Frankstein of older works and some old models on my PC! I will post more details and a wire ASAP! =)

Hey there! It's been a long time since my last post here (sorry, lot of things to do!)

This is my attempt to create a self-portrait in my own style. It was a very enjoyable work, because I was able to test everything that I've learned so far, as hardsurface modeling, character development, texturing, lighting and shadind skills and also try new things as curly hair! heh!

I would like to thanks to all my friends at TechnoImage - specially to my friend Saulo Brito (http://saulobrito.blogspot.com.br/), who made the original 2d concept - to my wife and everyone who helped me! =)

So, finally my last work is finished! This is another work inspired on Skottie Young’s awesome artwork! This one it’s my fav Skottie’s artwork and it was a lot of fun spending some time on it! =)

So, I can't believe that I've finished this one! hahaha! The original idea was to reproduce one of the "Armor Wars" cover, but it looks that I've changed a little my mind during the project. This one was a awesome challenge, because I've never modeled a car and neither an Iron Man armor (ok, I didn't modeled exactly the movie armor, but something, ahn... "between&quot. Another good challenge was to give some tries on 3ds max Hair and Fur - and damn, it is quite impressive! =)

I would like to thanks to my friends at TechnoImage for the tips, and for my beloved wife for helping me with some tips too and of course, for her pacience! =D

Hey there! =D
This is the second of my series of images based on the Street Fighter franchise! (it wasn't supose to be a serie, but dude, it's SO FUN! haha!) For this one I've picked these 2 fellas because, hun, Blanka is brazilian, like me (unfortunatelly I'm not green and I don't have any electrical powers! haha!) and Dhalsim it's the only character who is so strange as Blanka, and both have debuted on Street Fighter 2 - The World Warrios!

I have to admit that I dont like to play with any of those two! haha!

From exception of the trees on the background, everything is 3d - this background is based on Dhalsim's stage on Street Fighter Alpha 3!

Woah! It's been a long time since my last post here!

In the last year, every day after the work me and Marcel, a friend of mine, we were used to play Street Fighter III: Third Strike, me as Ryu and him as Hugo, and damn dude, those were some amazing hours of fun and epic battles!

When I decided to make this one to improve my characters skills, I couldn't think on another characters than those three guys! (two guys and a chick - yep, Poison it's a woman, I've made some research during this job! hahah!)

Just to explain, the boxing ring scenario was based on many of Street Fighter characters endings sequences! If you notice, many endings with fights occurs on a boxing ring, but never existed one in the gameplay! ;D
